ABOUT LAKE HAVASU SYMPHONIC WINDS
Who We Are: The Lake Havasu Symphonic Winds is a wind ensemble committed to continuing the tradition of American community bands. The majority of the musicians are Lake Havasu residents. The musicians come from all walks of life & ages and share a love of music & a desire to perform with other skilled players.
What We Do: Musicians and their conductor strive for the highest level of musical excellence as they present performances that will touch your hear and all your senses. The ninety-minute concerts are planned around a theme such as a holiday celebration, a historical event, or a style of music. Conductor Kim Wilson selects musical arrangements, both familiar and new, that will challenge the musicians and appeal to a wide range of audience members, including children. From September to mid- April the band rehearses Thursday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the Lake Havasu High School Band Room.

The Winds offers a scholarship to graduating seniors who want to attend college to prepare for a career in music.
